FAQ
How do I use the needle threader?
How many strands do I use?
Embroidery thread consists of six strands. The stitching will become more delicate and flat as the number of strands decreases. For a chunkier or embossed result, six strands of embroidery floss are utilized. I almost always embroider with two or three strands.
How do I know which size needle to use?
A smaller number means a needle with a bigger eye. For example, a size 3 embroidery needle will have a larger eye compared to a size 9 embroidery needle. If you are using all six strands, opt for a larger needle and vice versa.
